The TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language) course is designed for non-native speakers who wish to master the Russian language for academic or professional purposes. Exam Structure
The TORFL exam consists of five parts: Writing, Vocabulary & Grammar, Reading, Listening, and Speaking. Each part is scored separately, and you must pass all five to earn certification.
At the A1–A2 levels, instruction focuses on basic phrases and survival communication. At the B1–B2 levels, it covers text analysis, building arguments, and expressing opinions. Levels C1–C2 require academic fluency, cultural awareness, and the ability to discuss abstract topics with nuance.
Depending on the testing center, the exam is held over one or two days, in person or online.

Monthly mock exams simulate real TORFL testing conditions and include detailed feedback on every section. Instructors track vocabulary growth, grammatical accuracy, and communicative fluency through regular speaking evaluations and written assessments.
