2. What Information We Collect

Personal Information You Provide

- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number

- SMS Consent Preference: Your choice regarding whether you agree to receive SMS communications (collected via a checkbox on our consultation and contact forms)

- Communication Records: Records of our conversations, consultations, and support interactions

- Educational Information: Learning goals, exam preparation needs, course preferences, and the student's age or grade level

- Student Records: For enrolled students, lesson schedules, attendance, assignments, test and assessment results, and progress notes

- Lesson Recordings: Video and audio recordings of online lessons, which include the student's image and voice (see Section 12 and Section 10 of our Terms of Service)

- Payment Information: Billing details for course packages and services (processed securely through third-party payment processors)

Information Collected via Website Forms

When you submit a consultation request or contact form on our website, the following data is collected and transmitted to our internal team management system:

- Your name, phone number, and email address

- Your SMS consent preference (whether you opted in or out of SMS communications)

- The source of the submission (e.g., contact form, consultation modal)

- The page the form was submitted from and the site language

- Advertising attribution data (GCLID and UTM parameters), if present and you have not opted out (see Section 10)

- The date and time of the submission

Information Collected Automatically

- Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage patterns

- Technical Information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited

- Cookies and Similar Technologies: Necessary cookies and browser storage that keep the website working, analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4), and advertising technologies that measure our Google Ads campaigns (see Sections 9 and 10)

We Do Not Sell Personal Information

Lingva Pro Corp does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration.

Internal Data Processing

When you submit a consultation request, your information (name, phone, email, and SMS consent preference) is transmitted via a secure, encrypted channel to our internal team management system. This data is used solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and is not shared with external parties.

Limited Sharing

We may share your information only in these circumstances:

- Teachers: A student's teachers receive the student information and lesson recordings they need to teach

- Service Providers: Payment processors, scheduling tools (under strict data protection agreements)

- Legal Requirements: When required by law or court orders, or to protect legal rights

- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice)

- Emergency Situations: To protect health or safety, or to prevent fraud

Public Use Only With Separate Consent

We do not publish a student's name, results, photo, voice, or lesson recordings in reviews, on our website, on social media, or in advertising without separate written consent from the parent or guardian (or the adult student). That consent can be withdrawn at any time (see Section 10 of our Terms of Service).

International Transfers

- US-Based: Your data is primarily processed in the United States

- EU Residents: If you're in the EU, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers under GDPR

6. Data Retention

Retention Periods

- Active Students: While you're enrolled and for 3 years after course completion

- Lesson Recordings: No longer than active students' records above; deleted sooner on request

- Consultation Records: 2 years for follow-up and service improvement

- Payment Records: 7 years for tax and accounting purposes

- Marketing Opt-Outs: Permanently retained to honor your preferences

Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal information at any time (subject to legal retention requirements).

- Student Dashboard: Recognizing students who have signed in to the student dashboard and keeping their session secure

- Always On: Necessary cookies are required for the website to work and are not switched off by the cookie banner

Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics 4)

- Provider: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website usage patterns and improve our services

- Cookies: GA4 may set cookies (e.g., _ga, _ga_*) to distinguish unique users and sessions. These cookies expire after up to 2 years

- Data Collected: Pages visited, session duration, device and browser information, approximate geographic location

- Data Sharing: Analytics data is processed by Google. We do not share personally identifiable information through analytics

- Purpose: Understanding website usage to improve our services and measure advertising effectiveness

- Opt-Out: You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings

Advertising Cookies and Technologies (Google Ads)

- Purpose: Measuring which of our Google Ads lead to consultation requests and bookings (conversion tracking)

- How It Works: When you arrive from one of our Google ads, the click identifier (GCLID) and campaign (UTM) parameters are stored in your browser's local storage for up to 90 days and sent with your form or booking (see Section 10). A form submission or booking is recorded as a conversion through the Google tag (Google Analytics 4) and used in Google Ads to link it to the ad click. Google may use cookies for this purpose

- Opt-Out: Use our Privacy Opt-Out page to delete the stored GCLID and UTM data and stop their collection

Your Choices

- EU, EEA, and UK Visitors: If your IP address indicates that you are in the EU, the EEA, or the UK, we show a cookie banner. "Accept all" allows all categories. "Reject non-essential" deletes stored advertising attribution data (GCLID and UTM parameters) and stops its collection, the same as the Privacy Opt-Out page. Your choice is saved in your browser

- Google Analytics: To also block analytics cookies, use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or your browser settings

- Other Visitors: The Privacy Opt-Out page and the options above are available to you at any time

- Browser Settings: You can block or delete cookies and clear your browser's local storage at any time. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the website works

10. Google Ads Attribution (GCLID)

What Is GCLID?

We use the Google Click Identifier (GCLID) to measure the effectiveness of our Google Ads advertising campaigns. When you click on one of our Google ads, a unique click identifier is appended to the URL.

How We Use GCLID

- Collection: When you arrive at our site from a Google ad, the GCLID parameter, along with any UTM campaign parameters, is captured from the URL and stored in your browser's local storage for up to 90 days

- Submission: If you submit a consultation or contact form, or book a consultation through our online calendar, the stored GCLID and UTM parameters are included with your request

- Purpose: We use GCLID solely for advertising attribution — to understand which ads lead to consultations and measure campaign performance

- Data Sharing: Conversion data is shared with Google for the sole purpose of measuring advertising effectiveness. We do not send your name, email, or phone number to Google through this mechanism

Your Control

- Opt-Out: You can opt out of GCLID tracking at any time by visiting our Privacy Opt-Out page, which deletes the stored GCLID and UTM data and prevents future collection

- Cookie Banner: If you see our cookie banner (EU, EEA, and UK visitors), choosing "Reject non-essential" has the same effect

- Browser Controls: Clearing your browser's local storage will also remove the stored GCLID

- No Impact: Opting out does not affect your ability to use our website or services

Data Processing

The GCLID and UTM parameters are stored with your inquiry in our internal systems (see Section 5) and used for conversion tracking. What we share with Google for this purpose does not contain your name, email, or phone number — only the click identifier and the conversion that links your ad click to a form submission or booking.

11. Third-Party Services

Payment Processors

We use third-party payment processors for secure payment handling. Your payment information is processed according to their privacy policies and industry standards (PCI DSS).

Analytics Provider

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyze website traffic and usage patterns. Google processes analytics data on our behalf in accordance with Google's privacy policy and data processing terms. GA4 collects aggregated website usage data and may set cookies to distinguish users and sessions.

Advertising Provider

We advertise through Google Ads and measure campaign results as described in Sections 9 and 10. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Location Lookup

To decide whether to show the cookie banner, our website asks a third-party geolocation service (GeoJS) to determine your country from your IP address. We do not store the result.

Educational Tools

Some courses may use third-party educational platforms or tools. We'll inform you when third-party services are used and of their privacy implications.

12. Children's Privacy

Students Under 18

Our students include children from age 5. A student under 18 may use our services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who enrolls the student, pays for the services, and accepts our Terms of Service on the student's behalf. By accepting the Terms and paying for lessons, the parent or guardian also gives the consents in Section 10 of the Terms of Service: to the processing of the student's information and to the recording of lessons.

Children Under 13

- Parental Consent: Personal information about a child under 13 is provided by the parent or guardian who enrolls the child. The parent or guardian consents to its collection and to the recording of lessons by accepting our Terms of Service and this policy at payment and paying with a credit card, debit card, or other online payment system that notifies the account holder of the transaction

- What We Collect: The child's name, age or grade level, learning goals and needs, lesson schedule and attendance, assignments, test results, and progress notes, and recordings of online lessons, which include the child's image and voice. The contact and payment details we keep are those of the parent or guardian, not the child

- How We Use It: Only to plan and teach lessons, track progress, keep lessons safe and their quality high, and communicate with the parent or guardian. We do not sell children's information, and we use a child's name, results, image, or voice in reviews or advertising only with the separate consent of the parent or guardian (see Section 5)

- Parental Rights: A parent or guardian can review the child's information and lesson recordings, ask us to correct the information, request its deletion, and refuse further collection or the recording of lessons by contacting us at sales@lingva-pro.org or +1 (516) 716-8273. Deleting a child's information may mean we can no longer provide lessons

- No Direct Collection: We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without parental consent. If we learn that we have, we will delete it

13. Changes to Privacy Policy

Updates

- Notification: We'll notify you of material changes via email or a prominent website notice

- Effective Date: Changes take effect on the date indicated at the top of this policy

- Review: We recommend reviewing this policy periodically
