The Basic Skills Education Program (BSEP) is an official academic enhancement course offered to active-duty soldiers, especially those in the U.S. Army, to help them raise their General Technical (GT) score. This is essential for soldiers seeking to qualify for promotion, reenlistment, or reclassification into more technical or leadership-oriented roles. Our BSEP program focuses on improving math reasoning, reading comprehension, and vocabulary — the core components of the GT score.
🧪 Exam Structure
The GT score is not a separate test, but a composite of three ASVAB sections: Arithmetic Reasoning (AR), Word Knowledge (WK), and Paragraph Comprehension (PC). These sections test your logical thinking, problem-solving ability, reading fluency, and vocabulary range. To raise the GT score, you must master the foundational skills required for these three areas. Each subtest is timed, and questions become progressively more complex. Success depends not only on content knowledge, but also on your ability to understand and solve questions under pressure.
