ACT Exam
The ACT test is the most popular college entrance exam accepted by all universities and colleges in the United States. The exam is taken by all the graduates of high schools. The ACT exam is based on what students learn in high school and provides information about their strengths for education and career planning.
The ACT includes the four subject area tests plus a 40-minute writing test. The ACT includes 215 multiple-choice questions and takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete, including a short break. The structure of the test runs as follows:
For each subject, a student may get from 1 to 36 points. For writing, a student may get from 2 to 12 points. Writing part is optional, though some schools may require it.
